Not a good time to be flaring

Oct 04, 2015 4:27 PM

Woke this morning feeling OK. Didn't take long to realize it wasn't going to be a gold day. I let y the dog out and back in, then walked to the cabinets. When I bent over and straightened back up I suddenly felt light headed and short of breath. After two hours I was feeling worse, to the point of needing two canes. I got my spirometer and tested my breathing. Sure enough, I'm in an asthma flare! I've used my e-haler 3 times already, and I'm still feeling weak and shaky all over. And the Ventolin is making my tremors like I'm trying to shake up buttermilk. Lol

My granddaughter is suppose to come tonight through Wednesday because it's Fall break. Not so perfect timing! We were planning to take her to see her great grandparents. She lives their farm. I'm just glad my hubby is of too help entertain her!! I'm really beginning to think this is a delayed result of the flu shot. Ugh!!!

Wishing everyone a blessed week ahead! 🙏🌼

Flappsy, sorry you're having such a bad breathing day. When my Costochondritis acts up, I struggle sometimes to get a deep breath and then anxiety kicks in. I hope that you get a restful night's sleep and that you awake to a better day tomorrow. I know what you mean about the itching!! There must be somethin in the water..LOL!!! Benedryl is not helping to ease it either. It's quite annoying. I don't think it would look so nice if someone saw me scratching my back against the wall and scratching my boobs too!! I think they would think I had bugs or something!! I hope that tomorrow brings you some peace and less pain and itching. As always you're in my thoughts and prayers my friend. 💕🙏🏻🌻
