Oh for craps sakes!!!!!!

Okay, I know there is guys out there, so I do apologize if this is TMI. I started my cycle at home yesterday, which wasn't that big of a deal. But, the thing that really freaked me out is this.
I absolutely soaked through 1 super tampon an hour for about 3 hours this morning. That has never happened to me. Of course, I had a follow up appointment with my gyn on Monday. Nothing ever came up with it. No issues, no concerns, nada.
Then this happens. He told me to call if there are any issues or concerns before January of next year. I must admit, this really made me anxious. Like I said, I've never had that kind of issue before with soaking through. And at this point, I'm not even supposed to be on my cycle. I'm on suppression therapy with Provera, 3 months on continuously, with one week off. Last cycle was the last week of July, 2016. So I have a phone call into the office. Hoping that I can get some assurance or something at this point.

Amanda, there really isn't anything he can do. Sometimes you have a month where you will have heavy bleeding and soak through tampons AND pads. It does happen. Do you have especially bad cramping? Any vaginal or pain in the cervix area? I've bad that Happen to me before. It's no fun and it's a pain in the ass!! Just take some deep breaths. If the bleeding has let up just let it go and see what happens next month.

Alwayz, yes and yes to both questions. And yes, it's a pain in the ass already!!!

Okay, so I'm going to try to get a hot bath tonight, take an oral Voltaren and call it a night. The longer I stay upright, the more miserable I get. Good night

Amanda that sounds like what I (my mom, sisters) started going through in our early 30s, called hemorrhagia & due to other symptoms were weren't through, peri-menopause. It is normal and no two cycles are alike, nor can you count on tracking & being on time with peri-menopause. Because mine was so bad & so frequent it caused anemia issues and worsening endometreosis. That's why they took my uterus in '95. Always be prepared with something in your purse. Keep track so you can let the doc know. Hugs love and prayers it won't be too bad for you! πŸ™‚πŸ’•πŸ™πŸŒΈ

Flappys, the only reason I got freaked out with it is because I'm on menstrual suppressive therapy with Provera and was told to call if this kind of thing happened or if there were other issues with it. That's why I did end up calling.

That's good that you did. And I freaked my first episode too! Lol. Hope you have a better weekend! πŸ™‚πŸ’•πŸ™πŸŒΈπŸ˜˜

Flappys, I couldn't get your message for some reason. Got an appointment for Thursday afternoon at 3:00 pm. Not a moment too soon either. This morning, I went to go stand up to get dressed and got really dizzy and light headed. This was before I took any of my morning meds. So I think something might be up with that as well. Please let them find an answer already. I'm so tired of going back and forth with this problem already. Even though he did say before that we are down to only surgical options(either hysterectomy or ablation) at this point. But we shall see what he says on Thursday.

My daughter's had 2 ablations. She's also heading into peri-menopause, and she's not happy about it. Hugs love & prayers they can get your issues straightened out ASAP! πŸ™‚πŸ’•πŸ™πŸŒΈ

Oh, my bad. At one point, we did "discuss" putting a Mirena in but because of my pseudotumor and infection risk, that would not be a good idea already.
