It's worth it to me to feel "normal" for a bit. And to have fun and laughs to boot. Wow!

It's soo worth the pain for the next 2-3 days or so afterwards....I was really dreading Saturday gome because I'd promised my kids and my sister that we'd go to Cadbury World which is just over a 2 hour drive from me....I was dreading the drive there, dreading walking around and the many people and kids that were going to be there and dreading the drive home!!!!
The drive there was really hard and I had to make a couple of extra stops just to get out of the car and walk around to get my concentration back and to get breakfast but I'd left a little earlier just in case.
It was busy but it was nowhere near as busy as it would of been if it was a school holiday so holidays are a no!
It was actually a lot better day than I thought it would be 😊 having my kids, sister, her fiancée and their kids actually kept me distracted and moving.
We all had some great quality time together and a really enjoyable day (I managed to hold off a few panic attacks as well) with lots of chocolate.....you can't go to a chocolate factory and not eat any!!!!
We all had dinner together then drove home and the drive home was soo much easier than the drive there so much so that the only stop I made was for dinner then straight home.
My car is a lot more economical than I thought it was and she's soo easy to drive as well. This was the first long drive I've taken her on since I got her last month.
Yesterday and today have been hard with the pain and the fatigue but it was soo worth it instead of my kids always seeing me in pain and constantly tired and with my sister and her fiancée being there they didn't feel the need to be my protection all the time so it was a great day all round 😊

Be kind to yourself and let yourself recover, don't try to push yourself too much so that you can rest and recover so that next time you can enjoy yourself more
