Pacing through the holidays!

Dec 24, 2014 11:03 AM

I'm trying to encorporate rest breaks along with wrapping, cooking, and traveling! 9 hour drive to PA! I will be seeing a lot of fam and friends, but along with all the hoopla I will be resting/meditating as much as possible. I have never been more conscientious of this as I am this year. I usually push through the pain and fatigue until I have a big flare at the end of it all. Let's see how it works!

Best of luck. I wish you a safe journey. Perhaps I can learn how to meditate... Maybe it would help all around. Enjoy your family and friends and all of the festivities. Merry Christmas

Go a safe & steady pace. My prayers will be with you. My dad's going to Jacksonville's Mayo clinic in January, and I'm torn about making the 6-8 hour ride. He only lives 1 1/2 hours away but by the time we return home that 3 hour car ride does me in for days. I don't want to feel selfish, but what good will I be to him if I'm played up in a hotel bed for days. I hate the way I feel tied down to short trips, but car rides are my body's worst enemy. Good luck & safe journey!

Car rides are really bad for me too. The vibrations, especially on bad roads, give me the worst headache and back ache every time.

Loops! I meant if I'm laid up in a hotel room.

I hate auto correct.... Oops! Not loops... Lol & Merry Christmas

I have a lot of trouble with car rides (can't do any longer than 20 mins) especially with bad roads. I also have trouble worth school getting there, staying there and their attitude. I'm planning on taking several lie downs today to keep passion down a bit. Fingers crossed for everyone.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year
