Funnily enough, I've recently noticed a reaction to Pepsi Max. It makes my throat very painful and it hurts to swallow. It tends to feel like there's a lump part way down and can feel as sharp as blades in my throat. Obviously not drinking it ATM. Not sure it affects overall pain levels. I've not noticed a pattern but then the only diet soda drink I ever have is Pepsi max. P.
I only drink sprite zero because it doesn't have the caramel colorings and other additives . I know it has the phenalynaline and noticed that if I drink it regularly my pain is increased in my wrists arms hip and ankle.
This is odd. I rarely ever drink any soda and so I can't say if it increases my pain. My average daily pain is a 3-4, but today is a 6-7 due to over-activity yesterday. Next time I have one I will pay attention. 🙏🌼
For me, not really. I'm also a Pepsiholic but I've noticed that when they switched the formula to non aspartame, not as many headaches which is good for me. It could just be the aspartame for me though. If anything, I tend to drink either regular soda or coke products. They don't bother me as bad.
I don't drink ANY soda whatsoever. The only thing that I drink is Seltzer. There is no sodium, no colors, no sugar, no calories. It's just water with bubbles. I get the flavored ones like wild cherry or mixed berries. There is nothing artificial in those either. I drink anywhere from 2-3 liters of it a day. (At least I'll never be dehydrated). Besides, if I drink plain water, it gives me aweful heartburn. It's weird because the seltzer does t do that to me. Hope you're all having a peaceful and less painful day. 🙏🏻🌻
Shammagram, are you referencing the studies where aspartame brings on symptoms of MS, that left when people speed donning diet soda. I know my uncle prefers diet soda because of tooth aches and Cascais, but I'd rather have Cascais than a bunch of chemicals any day.
Aspartame causes headaches. I went from weekly migraines that were so bad I couldn't see to a few a year. Also the body processes it like sugar for diabetics. It also makes some people hungrier. The problem with studies is they can be turned to come out the way you want. Bottom line if it doesn't come from the Earth don't eat it. I try to stick to that rule but we as humans all have our own weaknesses.
