Pain Management

Oct 10, 2016 10:37 AM

So, today was pain management and I had him X-ray me because I fell the other day (it was actually almost funny) and turns out that I have chest pain because I fractured 2 ribs and my sternum... Oh happy day!!! 🙄😜 So when all that was said and done and he did his range of motion things and had me in a flop sweat, I made my appointment for next Thursday to have my Facet Joint Injections. He's actually doing C3-T1 all on the left side. I have such a wonderful family that you know who's taking me??? ME!! LOL!!! Should be fun having to sit there until I'm coherent enough to drive which should be about 10 minutes.. LOL!! I love my life.. hope everyone is having a good day with low pain loads. I'm going to go drug myself now.. {{{Hugs}}}💕😘🤗😜

I'm dandy QuietLight (miserable really) but not going to let it ruin my day. Just going to take my meds and turn on some good music and sing a little.. can't really get a deep enough breath to really sing like I usually do, but then again, that could be a good thing for anyone listening.. LOL!! 😜😂🤗

Sjogrenspain77...I look at it 2 ways. Ouch, body feels like fire or, when I'm trying to be perky....I AM fire! The inner fire that conquers All. lol....but the pain fire tends to kick inner fire's rump a lot

So sorry you must drive yourself. Usually the office is adamant that I must have a driver. That really sucks! Anyone of us would do it if we could walk that day! Good luck Alwayz.

I know y'all would come to my aid. No worries, I will just sit there for a bit and when I'm up for going then I'll go. Fortunately I'm only 7-8 minutes to from the house. (My Mom suggested that I call the neighbor!!!) I mean, really.. I cart them everywhere to all of their appointments and some of them (like the dentist who lives next door works almost 45 minutes away without traffic). It's ok, I've gotten used to it. You know, a few times my BFF actually drove down from Massachusetts to NY (a 3.5 hour drive) to take my for my surgery.
LMAO... I had a pretty serious surgery once and I got dropped off at the door. I was told to have them call when I was done and they would come and get me. Fun, fun, fun!!!!! It's kind of tiresome. 🙄😊. I'm not going to let it ruin my day. I'll just torture the girls in the office and they'll have some free entertainment.. LOL!!😜
