Pain Management Clinic

Sep 15, 2016 7:00 AM

Hi guy's I'm off to a residential pain management clinic in Bath at the weekend. Lasts fot 4 wks. Nervous leaving the family esp my 10yr old. Worst is they have no Internet so not sure how I'm going to keep in touch. They won't be visiting as it's 2-3 hrs away from home. 😒 Hope it's worth it.

Dolph1nmum, it's hard being away from your family, but sometimes you have to do what is good for your health to be good for family. So don't look at it like being away from your family for a long time , look at it like this could be good for our family in the long run helping me learn to manage my pain so I can do more with them. I I'll be praying for you and your family here will be waiting for you when you get back. Love hug's and Prayer's for a safe trip and a brighter tomorrowπŸ™πŸ’–πŸŒΉπŸŒžπŸ’

The Royal Hospital For Rheumatic Diseases(The Min) is brilliant, I would say that because I live in Bath and have been a patient on the ward, twice, just be open minded about what they talk about and the different things they might introduce you too.... All the best😊

Thank you everyone. I'm on week 3 now and it's been a roller coaster of emotions and feelings. Some things seem to be ironic and tongue in cheek but there's a purpose for everything. Still learning
