49urgirl, I am so sorry you are suffering so. I've not heard of the problems you mention. I don't understand why on earth the doctor would decrease your meds when the pain has increased (unless you're having side effects from the Gabapentin?? I wish you luck and hope they can relieve your pain and correct the problem.

I'm sorry you're going through this. I've had scoliosis surgery and now live with chronic pain, I also have pain when I breathe most times & I feel like my ribs are being torn apart. (Some have been removed)
Just stay strong

49urgirl I have been wondering how much Norco and Gabapentin were you taking before they decided to cut back on your meds. How much are you taking now. I don't understand why they are doing this since your pain has increased.

49urgirl, I'm sorry about your pain. I don't have brachial neuritis, but I am familiar with it. Its unusual for it to cause pain in the trunk of the body like the ribs. Have you ever had gallbladder or pancreas issues? Just before they took my gallbladder out I was having pain being/in my right lower rib area radiating around my back and up to my shoulder area. I think you should call your doctor or go to an urgent care center. I'll be praying for you to find out what's wrong and get relief. 🙏🌼
