All of my pain is severe and very severe so it's it better to leave my drawing how it is or because of very very tiny differences should i use the other colours too but make it clear that it is severe etc?
ANY pain you are documenting in your journal is a problem. No matter the area, size of the painful area or if it's a 3 out of 10 on the pain scale. If it is enough to ruin your every day living, then it's an issue. You're focussing on the wrong thing right now. Just keep your chart as accurate as you can with your symptoms and pain levels. Nobody lives in your body but you!!! If your life is disrupted you need help... Good luck, Hon... I. Rooting for you as will all the rest of us.
Describe your pain as best you can by how debilitating it is ( how much that pain prevents you from enjoying your quality of life). If you loved to sky dive or rock climb, back and neck pain can be a 5 of 10 and keep you from enjoying that which you love. That enjoyment of those things gave you great joy and happiness. Now the pain prevents you from that joy, which causes discontentment, sadness, and depression. We all have to keep searching for answers for our pain and what it is we really love. I too struggle with this daunting task. Don't give up. Use the app to help you put a "face" to your pain.
