Paralysed Limb injury - Advice welcomed

Feb 09, 2016 5:02 PM

My partner has a paralysed arm and hand and is convinced that somehow she has managed to break her arm - there is no obvious signs of a break and to our knowledge she hasn't done anything to it but she's been getting really bad pain in it lately in comparison to having the odd phantom pain

Her arm has been paralysed for nearly 20 years she's 32 ....

Subostar, I would take your partner to see the doctor and get an X-ray just to rule out a possible break. If there is increasing pain, the doctor may recommend going to a neurologist or rheumatologist to do some further investigation. What was the initial cause of the paralysis? Was it an injury? I hope that you find the answers you seek, and soon!!! Welcome to our family community. I hope that you settle in and get to know us and get the support and camaraderie that we all need when we suffer pain in our bodies. I wish you all the very best. {{{Hugs}}} 💕🙏🏻🌻
