Pet supporters

Dec 08, 2016 6:48 PM

This is my dear friend Ollie. She supports by insisting on attention no matter what I am doing, pulling me out of self absorption to pet & cuddle with her. She was a ferrel kitten frantically meowing on my doorstep at 5 AM
Now 7 years later she is my almost constant companion.

I wish I could train them to give me massages! Sometimes Max will lay on my leg preventing my RLS from robbing me of sleep! ๐Ÿ˜€

These are my three gray tree frogs !! Unfortunately I have no fur babies because of allergies, so critters are my thing.

Jokester is a very handsome snake and i love your frogs.
I absolutely love snakes and would get one in a heartbeat but my girl is terrified of them to the point she turns the TV off if one comes on!!! I'll just have to wait until she fly the nest!!! ๐Ÿ˜จ๐Ÿ˜‚

Haha oh boy !! My grandmother is like that. She doesn't even want to come to my house knowing they are here . And the fact that I sleep in the same room as them terrifies her to no end. I'm going to try introducing her to them slowly and educating her on why they are harmless and essential to the ecosystem (garter snakes in canada). This is my toad I adopted last summer ! Her name is toadie

Jessie Nova I am so impressed with your frogs & toad. I looooooove frogs & toads. Did you buy them or collect them from environment. They are so cute!!! Can you show some more shots of them? Do you keep them in a terrarium? What do you feed them ?

Hey Tamtoad! I collected my gray tree frogs from a park near my apartment โ™ก. I saved the toad from the lawnmower at my grandparents ! I have my frogs in a 20-30G tank turned on its side so it's tall. They love.jumping around in there. My toad ha's a 10G tank ! They are super inactive right now because it's winter :0 (just like me) this shot is of my male frog named Dendae.

JessieNova, your critters are awesome!! No fur needed... your ball python is beautiful. I have an albino and some pied that I have to keep at a friend's place because my mother is horrified of snakes. One of my fur babies is my ferret, Mischief. The other is my little spiky friend, Mr. Prickles.. he's such a snuggle bunny he's adorable but also a two timing little fucker!! (Right Lulabel?!?! ๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ˜‰).

Is your hedgehog wild? Mr Prickles...is he dangerous..could he bite? Are they like possums?

Dec 11, 2016 2:19 AM

JessieNova...Dendae...is so cute. We don't have many toads for several years. It's the drought in California. No tree frogs in our region at all. High up in mountains there are some.

Thank you Alwayzinpain ! Your hedgehog is super cute and spiky lol!
And Tamtoad I'm sorry to hear !! I don't know what I would do if there was a summer with no froggos here.
Cameo is Dendae again hehe

Tamtoad, no, he isn't wild. I got him from a breeder and he is an African Pygmy Hedgehog. Any animal can bite but hedgehogs normally don't because they have the protection of their quills and they roll into a ball when they're scared. He loves to snuggle and is super sweet. They're very easy pets to keep and are very smart. At the moment I am teaching him to sit up on his back legs for his worms.. it's super cute. I'll post a picture when I can get him to stand long enough to get one!! ๐Ÿ’•๐Ÿ˜Š
