AmyBigler, I'm sorry you're feeling so overwhelmed. When you say you're on ST disability, do you mean following a work leave of absence? Pinched nerves are horrible. How long have they been doing the PT for? Sometimes PT takes awhile, and other times it's not helpful. If that's the case maybe you should get a second opinion.

Have you tried any epidural steroid nerve blocks? I see a pain specialist who does them to one area of the spine at a time, in a series of three injections (injx). I was treated with them in 2012 and finished in January 2014, doing each level of my spine twice. I was fairly free of spine pain and headaches until this year.

Fibro is rough to deal with alone but when combined with other issues it's awful. Resting in a flare seems to be a vital necessity for me. I'm not on anything for it right now because I'm having tremors and they told me not to go back on my gabapentin just yet. But when I took it I could tell it helped some. I now have Sjogrens & hypothyroidism, which shares common symptoms with fibro. In case you didn't know, fibro usually goes along with other issues. Go to

I don't think I have any lunched nerves right now, butmany of my issues come from nerves.
Have you tried lemon balm or garlic or ginger?
