Can plaquenil change positive ANA lab results to negative ANA lab results?

Jul 11, 2017 3:48 AM

What level were your positive antibodies? My positive ANA (1:320) didn't mean much to my Rheumatologist. She went on symptoms and treated me even though I don't have a definate diagnosis. I haven't had another ANA test since then. I have just had to stop Plaquenil because my skin became insanely itchy. I've been on it since February. All I can say, is that it was working very well for me. More than I realised. The aching, swelling and misery I had stopping Plaquenil was scary. I hope you don't have to stop just because of your negative test.
