CatchMyPain Community and Pain Diary App to manage chronic illness

Potential fibromyalgia

Hi everyone, I'm new to this app. And I have been experiencing horrible constant pain daily. Doctors don't know what is wrong. All the tests so far have come back negative or normal. I am currently taking pregabalin for my pain as they believe it is nerve related. Anyone have any advice ?

Thanks

Redroses, welcome to our forum on pain. Sorry to hear about the pain you are experiencing. One of the meds I am on for nerve pain is Gabapentin. For me, I don’t know what I’d do without it. Have you tried heat/cold? I hate to use cold but when my pain increases it does help me. Massage helps relax your muscles. There are many suggestions given on this app, from heat/cold, massage, meds, CBD oil, Physical Therapy, exercise, low sugar/carb diets etc. read some of the other older responses. You can learn a lot. It’s not unusual in your pain journey not to find answers at first. I’ve been having issues with pain for over 35 years. At first was dx with Fibroneuralgia , after further studies now have many dx’s : DDD, AS, Osteoarthritis, Stenosis just a couple to name. It takes time and persistence and a doctor that is willing to listen to your needs. Feel free to ask questions as there are many people who are in the same boat and can help you. We’re here to give you support and if you need to vent on occasion (as is normal) feel free to express your frustrations. If we can be of any help to you don’t hesitate to ask. Have as good a day as you can. Sending you gentle {{🤗}} and wishing you the best on your journey as a “pain warrior” as we all are. 🤗🙏🍁🦋💕
