Pots test?

Mar 12, 2019 11:59 AM

So I scheduled my pots test for May and I was wondering if any of the tests I have to go through will hurt or make my dizziness and nausea worse?

The tilt table test made me very dizzy, pass out, and feel incredibly sick. I'm not going to lie, it's not fun at all but it does pass quickly and it's worth it to start getting answers. Good luck!

Thank you! That helps a lot.

I also went through the tile table test & it doesn't cause pain of any kind. But it did cause dizziness as well as feeling faint, light headed. My heart was beating so hard and fast it felt like it was beating right out of my chest. Just as I felt like I was blacking out the technician stopped the test saying she had everything she needed. I do have POTS, and I take midodrine 2x/day, & cartia xt 1x/day to regulate my blood pressure. It has reduced my POTS episodes 75+%. Hugs love & prayers you will get answers quickly so you aren't on the table too long! 🙂❤🙏🌼

I'm so glad you now know what you are dealing with! Do your research so you are familiar with it. BTW, I didn't completely blackout either, but I probably would have had the tech not lowered the table when she did. 😉
