Dec 03, 2018 2:26 AM

I’ve taken 2 Percocet within 3 hours. Please pray for me. My nerve pain is off the pain chart. They say I should be dead on the chart. At times like this I only wish...My polyneuropathy has worsened in my legs and arms. Doctor said my spine is crumbling and pinching off nerve roots in both my lumbar and cervical regions.im incontinent of B&B. Having problems with balance and foot drop to my right foot. Don’t know what else I can do. Have cried till I’m numb psychologically. Help me my friends. I’m struggling. Any other suggestions in helping severe nerve pain I would appreciate any input .🌸💕

In so sorry you're going through this. I don't know what to do for nerve pain. Does Lyrica or gabapentin help? Does heat or TENS unit help? I hope you find some answers.

Thank you AnimalLover2. I’ve tried all the above. Have you or anyone had an ablation done? I believe it’s where they burn the nerve. Thank God it’s not 24/7 but when it flares it’s just unbearable. Thank you for your kind words.

Yes I've had that done to my lower back and neck. The lower back lasted for about a year. The neck one didn't do anything. A couple months ago I had another one done that was done at the hospital. The doc wanted to go deeper. She knocked me out. It was outpatient. The first one was done in a outpatient medical place seperate from the hospital.

Wow. AnimalLover2whst types of Dx do you have? I have Spinal/Cervical stenosis., RA, AS, OA, DDD, Psoriasis,Parkinsonism,
IBS, Incontinence,Polyneuropathy PeripheralNeuropathy, Radiculoneuropathy of cervical region, Type 2 Diabetes, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, immune disorder.I might of missed one? Anyways sounds like you may have similar dx. Do you feel positive about your nerve oblation treatments or have they caused you further problems? I feel for you or any of us with nerve pain. I was able for the most part to deal with my chronic pain until the nerve pain began to occur on a more constant time frame. Increasing in both intensity and duration. My heart goes out to you as I know the agony that you are having to deal with.💕🤗

Painwarrior, you are in my prayers! I have many of the same or similar dx, like you & AnimalLover2. And like you I do pretty well at coping with the daily chronic pain, until the neuropathies flare. Something as simple as walking through the grocery store can set it off; the longer I'm on my feet during the day the worse my pain at night. Sometimes I get some relief to my legs by rubbing pain ointment into the calf muscles. I'm convinced my vein insufficiency in my legs also make the neuropathy worse by not having proper blood flow between my feet & heart. Some nights I just can't sleep. Lately though my neuropathies are in my arms and hands as much if not more than my legs, and the doc says it's due to my spine issues and fibromyalgia. I wish someone could find a way to cure it! Try and rest when you can, even if naps are only 30 minutes here & there. Hugs love & prayers your flare ends soon! 🙂❤🙏🌼

Thanks FlappysLady81. Your so right. I’m having more nerve pain in my arms now. I frequently ( almost daily) get Tendonitis to both of my forearms. I too have a lot of spine issues as well. It’s the flares of neuropathy I can hardly bare. I’m on 800 mg of yes Gabapentin 3 times a day or 2400 Mg’s . You have said you are having a problem since you’ve been on Gabapentin. I recently also started steroids ( medro dose pack). I’m afraid of any liver damage from the prednisone. Frankly the nerve pain has gotten so bad that I no longer care. My flare has ended for now. Been having muscle spasms now that are affecting 1/2 my body ( right side). I just shake myhead. Frustrating as hell at times. Thanks both of you for your loving 🥰 support. Until the next time...😘🤗🌸😱💕

Here is a trick I use for the nerves going down my legs. Copabia oil on the vessel in the ankle and behind my knee. 15 to 20 drops mixed in a tblspoon of lotion.

Dec 08, 2018 10:07 PM

Zetarlov never heard of that oil. Where do you get it? Thanks for the Idea may try it. Hey anything that helps is alright with me. 🌸

Dec 17, 2018 11:44 AM

I use Doterra, I don't sell it, my niece who has fibro gets it for me. I like the oil not the capsules. Also I use their deep blue in capsules not the rub. It has an ingredient that peels my skin. Lol on the Copibia my gym is from South America and it is common there.
