Hi everyone. Someone was telling me today about Quell and how great it is. It is a device that goes around your calf and sends signals that end up blocking pain. He said a family member was taking opiates everyday and then bought Quell and hasn't taken a pain pill since. Does anyone here have any experience with Quell? It's a bit pricey for me but if it works...

I have one. It reduces my pain some but not a ton.

Thanks Goobette38! I'm on gabapentin, tizaniidine too with otc pain patches (not strong enough), voltaren gel, physical therapy (3xs week)...I use other items (IR heat, aromatherapy, etc) and am seriously considering the Quell. I have a visit next week with dr so hopefully I can discuss along with med adjustment. I appreciate your comments and shared experience.

So I won't hold my breath haha

There is a packet that you can download off the site and print. It's to explain the device to doctors. Maybe take it with you to your appointment so you can discuss it.

Is Quell something the dr can provide to you or does it have to be purchased from a store? I'm wondering if it would've covered under medical insurance...

It's not covered by insurance. You can get it from the manufacturer, bed bath and beyond, Amazon and some say either HSN or QVC I don't remember which has it to where u can split it into 2 payments.
