Question???? People with Fibromyalgia!😣

Sep 11, 2017 12:31 AM

I have a question for those whom suffer from fibromyalgia. Have you heard of burning, redness, and small lumps on the scalp? Friday evening I had a horrible headache, so I laid down on the couch. I fell asleep and I woke up and felt the back of my head and there was a knot or small lump. It hurt to the touch and gave me a migraine. So, I was a little freaked out. My husband asked if I hit my head. I said "no" if I did that would explain the small knot. I decided to wait it out. So I didn't touch my hair Saturday hoping it would go away. I woke up with it on Sunday and it was still there plus now my scalp is red in that area. I washed my hair with a all Natrual Shampoo. I felt another little small lump. So now I'm mortified. I told my husband and he said it that it may be a fibromyalgia symptom. So I looked it up online, I found out fibro can affect the scalp. So has anyone else experienced this as a fibro symptom???

Actually now the redness is almost gone, and the knot is going down. Every since l've had fibro different weird things happen. I get bruises on my legs and arms, my right jaw hurts sometimes, and my fingers lock up and I can't move them. 😣 I'm happy that whatever it came from its getting better, however I'm going to call my doctor to be on the safe side. I have really bad allergies and the pollon levels has been very high. That may have caused it. I took benadryl before I went to sleep so it may have been allergy related.

Allergies sound like your cause and the fibro may be amplifying it. I hope you feel better.
