Racing heart after stairs.

May 01, 2017 10:54 AM

I WALKED up the one flight of stairs at my school. Instantly felt my heart racing so I took my pulse. I was trying really hard to exercise yesterday and after 15 minutes got right around this heart rate. Should I be concerned?

Mine is between 110-120 resting but I have tachycardia and am on a beta blocker for it. You may way to start checking your heart rate and jotting it down. If it stays like that then you may want to see your doctor. Any number of things can cause it.

Well I tried taking it while I was still on the stairs and got this.

Are you on any blood pressure meds?

Always take it while in a resting position

Just did my resting heart rate. Used a different app though.

I use this. It's a lot more accurate than phone apps or the wrist cuffs. They are pretty cheap.
