Anyone have issues with hot and cold? I've noticed no matter how hot I have my shower it doesn't feel hot enough. Or I'm sweating pools and everyone else says it's comfy. Or my feet are ice cubes for no reason lol.

It is a by the minute problem for me. I feel more like a reptile than a mammal.

Yes, it is a problem for me. I am always too warm. I keep turning the tap in the shower until it is almost cold. My feet and one hand are always freezing. Lol, I mean one hand???!! Summer heat is dreaded.

Yep, I too get weird issues with being freezing for no reason (nobody around me is cold). My doc asked me about hot flashes and I said, No, I get cold flashes." He thought I as kidding. Or feet burning and painful or hands icy while the rest of me feels fine. What is this related to? Anyone know? My doc doesn't.

You need to be DESCRIPTIVE on tour symptoms otherwise it's 20 questions time leading to frustrating experience for you and your HCP. Try using the five W's and that will add greatly to your discussions; hard to help when you don't know the issues!

I have temperature problems but my body is doing something weird. I know I am not well and my body is telling me that. I am always hot by nature. I have to sleep with the fan on. Start running the AC in May. The only part of me that gets cold easy is my feet. If they get cold, my whole body is messed up and I might get sick. But now my body has been getting cold when everyone has been hot the past two weeks.

It would serve you well to start a diary and track how your feeling and what your body is doing. This site is helpful but you can't print out the material which is what your HCP needs to see. Staying in tune with what your body is doing is an important first step!

Yes. Temperature problems all the time. My body is hot, my feet are cold, I feel feverish, but my body temp is low, my hands are hot, my hands are cold, sometimes the shower is too hot, sometimes it can't get hot enough. You are not alone.

@Robinsage. If you want to print all you do is email yourself and prints what you need. :)

Thanks for sharing that LMB. I guess I should be a bit more positive about my doc if I am going to let him read my comments.

BeausMama, I have issues with hot and cold. I am completely intolerant of the cold and if I get chilled I can't get warm no matter what I do. When I go in the shower, if the water is any more then warm, it actually burns my skin and I have to turn it down to tepid or I can't stand to have the water hitting my body. I have spent the last several days actually wearing long johns, thermal undershirts and bundling under a quilt because I'm so cold. I'll get up to go downstairs to the bathroom and touch my Mother's hands and she'll say, "OMG, your hands are like ice cubes!" And this is after just getting out from under my winter quilt. It's horrible and I'm going through menopause and have no thyroid either (it was removed 16 years ago due to Grave's Disease). So as of late I have found it very hard to regulate my body temperature. My "normal" temp runs 97.0 degrees so if I run what "normal" should be, I feel sick and am usually running a low grade fever. I hope that you find the reasoning behind your issues with temperature soon and get some resolution. {{{Hugs}}} and prayers that you feel better soon. 💕🙏🏻🌻😊

I've always been very sensitive to cold & hot. My hubby & kids say I use tepid water, but to me it's hot. I don't use ice in my drinks, except enough to cool any hot drink down. My hands and feet turn colors when cold, and they're always colder than the rest of my body. I can't tolerate hot or cold water in the shower. I recently set the water temp for my granddaughter's shower and when she got in she squealed, "Granny, that's cold!". Lol
