extreme back pain on waking up. felt terrible all over. went to bed on time. very frustrating to not know from one day to the next how I will feel the next day. almost impossible to hold down my job. tired of calling them all the time with problems. sure they are tired of it to. weather front went through last night, wonder if that affects my pain. anyway, hang in there as I will.
KCmachine, welcome , and has your doctor ever mentioned the possibility of alyklonis spondylitis (I know I spelled that wrong). I have been reading your threads and you seem to have the majority of those symptoms. Now, about disability, just one question, how old are you?
Weather definitely affects some pain conditions! With fibro, you get 'subjective swelling' where you feel puffy and swollen, but when you look at that area, it's not swollen. I think changes in barometric pressure can move the fluids in our cells and make us uncomfortable at the very least. I agree, please file for SSDI and whatever state disability you can get. You've worked hard and aren't malingering. Your work can definitely support your claim since you have been off more and more, and they've accommodated you as much as they can. It's no shame to rest and get relief from pain.
thank u so much. I have put it off so long. keep trying to work, and now just beating my head against the wall because I can only make it in part of the time. I have worked all my life, it's very hard to admit I just can not do some things anymore. makes me feel like a bum. lazy. your support helps. I'm going to a disability lawyer tomorrow to lay it all out to them and hope they can help. thanks
