Well I feel back to square one with my shoulder! I have such extreme pain in it tonight again! The pain carries all the way down my arm and through my wrist. I have resorted to stronger pain killers tonight! My ultrasound is not until Wednesday! I need answers!😞
I have the same thing. The doctor told me it's my neck. I have bad discs and bone spurs. I'm sure some day I'll have to have surgery but I'm trying to put it off. I take gabapentin, aleve, morphine and sometimes naclofen or flexaril to help. It sometimes takes the edge off. Good luck to you. I hope they find the cause. 👍
When i saw my rheumatologist last week I asked holim why i have constant pins and needles in my left finger tips and he said due to my posture, I have large breasts I slouch forwards unconsciously to hide how big they are then with my trigeminal neuralgia pain on the left side of my face I tense a lot thro my face to my neck to my shoulder and upper back then add in the fibro pain in my neck, upper back and shoulders its all combined to actually pinch the nerve from my neck/shoulder going to my left arm and when the pain is really bad in my neck and shoulder i have awful pain going down the whole of my arm with the knuckles in my hand being the worst which causes me to lose feeling in my hand so i cant pick anything up or even hold anything in my left hand.
I hope the ultra sound is able to find the issue and that its easy to put right so you have no more pain.
Sending you positive vibes and warm healing hugs xxx
I don't mind explaining I've been waiting for the appointments for over 2 months as NHS waiting times are so long and I thought I was seeing a specialist in the condition they think I have but I found out that it's not the doctor I thought I was seeing. Also I'm hoping he will refer me for the tests I need doing quickly as I need to be diagnosed as I've ended up in a ambulance 2 times this month! 🙄😘
Hi I've just got back from the appointment it went awful! I have been waiting for this appointment for 2 months they told me I would see a POTS specialist, We got there and he had no clue about POTS he just had a interest in falls and he was based in the elderly care unit. He said my heart rate monitor had some abnormal beats and I had period where my resting heart rate was 150 but he's not a cardiologist so couldn't tell me any more, He said my ecg had abnormal beats but he didn't know why! I asked him wether my chest pains were normal and not dangerous and he said I don't know but you need to be careful so if you have bad chest pains just go to A&E and tell them you have abnormal beats! He then went on to tell me that I am holding myself back from getting better from M.E and fibro because I'm not exercising and that it's my fault I'm ill he then got me to get out of my wheelchair and walk them he laughed and said well you can walk well! So I asked about the tilt table test that I need for my POTS diagnosis and that I have already been waiting for 2 months and he said the waiting list is 7 MONTHS!!!! I'm so disappointed this means I'm going to end up in hospital loads as I have to reduce my medication for the tilt table test and I have to go to A&E for moderate-Severe chest pain 🙄😞
@AnimalLover2 I know it's ridiculous and the fact that within them 7 months whenever I get chest pains I have to go to hospital! I have a appointment with a cardiologist next week but they have already told me that he won't be able to do much until this test has been done! Thank you 💕
Hi @Christmas7. I understand too well. I had surgery on my shoulder about 9 years ago. That didn't help. They want to do another I won't. I hope they figure out what's going on with you and are able to ease your pain. For me they claimed that my bone grew longer than it should have. But I have no idea . God Luck at your appointment Please update us updated 😊😊
So I saw the doctor and I do not have a tear but I have Tendinopothy. He is recommending physio on my shoulder. It is good news that there is no tear but I will have to take it easy and physio? I guess I will have to be careful!
