Hey Laalaa,

I also have nightmares and have a hard time waking myself up from them. I've been told that it's part of the side effect of my meds though...what scares me is the nightmares are so life like and feel real. Do you ever finally wake up and are drenched in sweat and feel like you've ran a marathon? Or wake up crying?? This happens to me frequently and than I have such a hard time falling back asleep.

Hi sweetpea πŸ‘
I have not had a dream (or remembered my dreams)... it feels like no dreams/nightmares at all... for 14 years now... not since an event that left me with brain damage... taking all my longterm memories... i have no childhood... no wedding or births of my 4 children... not even 5 yrs ago! I get fractured memories/ feelings... smells trigger them the most... but only when im awake! I live in the moment mostly! Alarms set for most things... a book i write my life in... a fone to back it up! I cant rememer my kids growing up which weighs heavy on my heart... but not for long... as im like finding nemo's DORY! Distracted by shiney things and pretty lights!

I would like a dream with Angelina Jolie, riding bare back on the beach in the sunshine please πŸ˜‰

Hey @Eilidh,
I am glad you've found something to help with rewriting your dreams. I didn't have any issues before being diagnosed and starting medication to have sleep issues and nightmares. All my treating physians just keep reminding me of how the many different components of CRPS and this being one of them.
Sending hugs to all of you :)

Laalaa, have you had a sleep study? They did one on me because of the same thing; headaches & insomnia. They thought i might have apnea, but no I just snore. And my sjogrens I'd drying out my nose & throat & sinuses, hence the headaches. I use AYR deadline gel in both nostrils before bed, and biotene spray for my mouth & throat. Hugs love & prayers you can find the cause and a solution to better sleep. I do relaxing things 30 minutes before bed. πŸ™‚πŸ’•πŸ™πŸŒΈ
