Right foot pain after hiking

Oct 08, 2018 12:26 AM

I suffer from alot of pain, fibro, arthritis, plantar fasciitis, migraines, back etc..

This is a new pain. I went walking last Sunday which turned into a hike because we got lost. I started limping I thought okay I'm just sore, I'll rest and it will go away. It has not gone away it burns, it aches, I can't walk more than a minute without it hurting. I can't bare weight on it. I tried to rub it , ice it, rest, and the pain is still there.

The pain is on my right foot at the arch and when I put weight on it it goes down the side towards my small toe. While rubbing I discovered a sensitive spot that makes me jump when I touch or squeeze on the bottom of my foot on the bottom on my last two metatarsals. During the week I felt like i was getting poked by sgarp needles like I had glass in my feet.

It doesn't appear to be bruised ir swollen but it burn when I'm resting and hurts when I walk. I don't know what's wrong.

I also feel the burn in my right ankle and the right (lateral) and posterior side of leg going up my calf.

You might have pulled a muscle or ligament. You could see a podiatrist.

Graceland, you may have aggravated the plantar fasciitis or pulled something like AnimalLover2 said. I have plantar fasciitis and if I'm on my feet too long it can get aggravated. Since it's been nearly a week, go get it checked out. Hugs love & prayers it gets better sooner than later! 🙂❤🙏🌼

Thanks I feel better now that it's been a few weeks. I been wearing coflex and it fleels much better. I think I did pull something. I did go to urgent care but it was a holiday on Monday and they could not give me an x-ray. I haven't been back. The wrap works which helps to bear weight on it. It's not swollen or fill of fluid it looks normal just painful. I have plantar fasciitis and the combo has been draining me.
