Warriorwoman15, RSD/CRPS is a condition where the nerves are hyper stimulated and send exaggerated pain signals to different parts of your body. It can effect you anywhere from one small area to widespread and covering most or all of your body. It has settled into everywhere that I've had surgery and I've had 30 procedures. At this point it's internal as well. It's a hideous disease and it sometimes is so bad, I can't stand for clothing to even touch my skin. It gets all red and hot and sometimes I can't even let water hit me in the shower. It's not anything I'd wish on anyone and yet sadly so many of us here have it.

Recently diagnosed with RSD in my left leg and mainly left foot. Came from either back surgery or a car accident after the back surgery. It can get so bad that if you touch my foot. You can drop me, and some days it barely bothers me.

Is that what RSD is like for the rest of you?
