RSD/CRPS treatments what works for you?

Nov 25, 2014 5:44 PM

I have had RSD since 06. Caused by the first of two Carpal Tunnel Releases. I have tried many things for pain but wanted to share what works for me and see what is working for others. Or things that didn't work as well.
I currently take an infusion of magnesium and B vitamins. Also medical MJ. This seems to help the pain, not alleviate but dull it. Im Wondering what works for other people with this condition. I also do modified Gentle Yoga and meditate.

Our daughter might get ketamine infusions if approved

Not sure what to think about it

Ketamine worked for me. I took it with Lydocaine. It made me nauseous, but it worked so good I took it for three years until switched to the magnesium. Good luck to her I hope she finds relief.

Make sure she eats before getting it. It helps with the absorption and less nausea I found.

Oh the magnesium is a natural substance I also get B vitamins in the same IV bag.The ketamine is an anesthetic. I used it for a long time it works great for pain! But I was offered the magnesium to try. Been on it for a year with the same results. butt ketamine I used for four years along with Lydocaine it worked well as well. I sincerely hope this works for her.

I'm on Gabapentin, which helps with certain types of pain, takes the edge off of the burning sensation for me. Kratom sometimes helps, but it depends on the day. Kava Kava Root, if used as a tea can help, I have it especially when pain is making me nauseous. When I get muscle spasms, I use potassium.
