Runner with fibro

Anyone else get pain relief from running? I've been at it a year now, and get many benefits from the endorphins. I go whenever I can and have completed up to a half marathon.

Keep going!!!! Movement is your friend!

Kaykiss, that's great! I don't run but up until July last year I was exercising 30-60 min each day. I definitely felt better, with more energy and less pain. I had to stop because of SOB & chest pain. It took until January to find out why. I'm just starting to walk a treadmill again, slow & steady. Due to imbalance & vertigo I needed to hold onto the results. As for your running, keep going but be careful. My husband sprinted off too hard and tore his minicus. 🙏🌼

That's awesome that you're getting some relief! I've only done a 5k (walking), but I'm hoping to work up to a half marathon.

I don't run, I walk. But I do get some relief from yoga as well.
