Laalaa, my GYN doc had me do them. When the results came back my cortisol was so low it was almost non existent. He wanted me to take 3 different adrenal glands supplements. I came home and researched them and one was off the market by the pharmaceutical company. That made me research the cortisol, adrenal glands and such. I got an appt with my endocrinologist, who said she had already had run ins with this gun doc for trying to prescribe supplements that could potentially harm her patients. She said that although the saliva treats are useful for some things, they after not as accurate for the endocrine system. She then said she would run some blood tests to check my cortisol but she didn't expect any problems. Well, my blood test came back with very low cortisol. So she sent me to the outpatient lab for an ACTH test, where they measure the blood 3x, before and after injecting a stimulant for the adrenal glands. Although my previous cortisol was low, the ACTH test came back completely normal. She said if I had gone on all those supplement from the gun I could have caused irreversible damage to my adrenal glands. I no longer see him. Follow your gut instinct! Hugs love & prayers!! 🙂🙏💕🌸
