CatchMyPain Community and Pain Diary App to manage chronic illness

I think I may have asked this question before so forgive me if it's a bit of a repeat. I was in a MVA in December of 14(totally not our fault, front passanger seat wasn't latched down to floor, driver took off and seat came up off the floor). Yeah exciting. Have had multiple rounds of PT for core strengthening(took an edge off the back pain, but did nothing for the sciatica). Ortho is NOT helpful as he still thinks the pain is all in my head. Pain management appt is this coming Wednesday. Debating on asking for another set of facet joint injections. Question is, has anybody had any luck getting the sciatica fixed? I don't want to live like this.

Amanda, my sciatica has calmed way down since my last injx late 2014. I hope and pray you'll get some relief! 🙏🌼

Flappys, sorry for the late response but did you have facet injections or an epidural? Right now, pain management is thinking that the pain is coming from the facet joints at L4-S1 but I'm still getting really bad sciatica so I really don't think we need to go a little bit lower the next time. That is, if the MRSA calms down long enough for us to move forward. Sigh.

Amanda, I had both. The facet injx hurt real bad for about 3-4 days but then over time I could feel the relief. My injx were at L4-5 & S1. Good luck and praying for the best relief possible. 🙏🌼
