Clark's, Aetrex, Naturalizer's, & Proper are a few if looking for flat casual shoes. I wear New Balance or Brooks sneakers. I love the Mary Jane styles with the strap across the forefoot or a shoe with an ankle strap (Egyptian style). I can't wear clogs or shoes without straps because they won't stay on my feet. I've been wearing this classic style (started in my childhood) since I was in my 30's, and I'll soon be 54... Not old, yet. 🙏🌼
I have to wear walmart shoes, first of all because they are inexpensive. Secondly, because they don't pinch around my ankle or hurt my feet at all. Almost always have to get a 1/2 size bigger because my feet also tend to swell with the plantars fasciitis in both feet.
Look into nursing shoes on the Internet. . You can find some at really good prices online and thier made to be worn by people who are on thier feet all day.. and thier getting to be pretty fashionable.
The sneakers, and shoes for that matter, that I've found the most comfortable, and I've tried many brands since being diagnosed with crps and fibro (plus a bunch of other things) 14 years ago is Abeo. You can go to their website or go to "The Walking Company" to try stuff on. They're not cheap, but they are very comfortable and very well made so they last. They have many styles available and each has a different fit so try different ones on.
