Sick tips

Dec 14, 2017 11:45 PM

Someone at work got me sick and I have every symptom you could get when your sick. Soar throat, messed up sinus' and nose, cough, fever, throwing up etc. I've been taking meds so my sinus' arnt super bad and I can deal with most of the symptoms. But now I'm getting muscle spasms in my back which are extreamly painful. I've tried my usual remedies for this, like a heating pad and massager but they arnt helping nearly enough. Also medical marijuana tinctures usually help but I didn't have any. I tried to make my own but it went horribly wrong. I ordered some and I don't think it's strong enough because I have a ridiculously high tolerance. Does anyone have any tips to keep pain down while being sick or to get over a sickness faster?

Hope you are feeling better! My secret remedies for when i feel any sicknes coming is coldpressed honey but it might be difficult to get. It contains more antibactial and all og the other stuff that helps with inflammation than regular honey. I just take quarter of a teaspoon 3 times a day and it really helps with the soar throat. For me it also helps me to stop the sicknes from really kicking in if i get it as soon as i feel the first bit of sick. Just remenber that honey looses it anti inflammation if it get heated more than 55°C.
Other than the honey i make a tea with fresh thyme and mint. Put it in a cup, pour hot water on it and cover for 10 min. You can add some ginger to help with nausua.
And then stay warm! Fever is the bodys way of fighting virus so let it run its course.

I can't help you with the pain, i just hope you will get better soon 😊
