Sinus problems and sick

Apr 12, 2017 7:36 AM

So i have been fighting off a cold or the flue for a couple weeks. And now im finally sick my immune system lost. And as always I'm having a really hard time with my sinuses. There's allot of pain like a huge headache on my forehead eyes and the bridge of my nose and i can't breath through my nose because its so clogged up. I have this problem where if I'm laying on my right side my right nostril is plugged and if i switch to the left i feel a pressure, release, then a pop and it starts to feel clogged on the other side and clears on the previous side. Does anyone have any suggestions how to fix this.

I've always had this problem since i was a kid. And i get sick more often and harder even when its just the common flue. I also am prone to sore throat and have asthma. So breathing through my mouth makes the sore throat harder to heal and acts up my asthma. And when i can't breath through my nose its hard to breath period i find myself gasping for breath. And i can't breath through the one nostril cuz i can't pull enough air in and it starts to hurt inside and feel cold and raw

I've tried got tea with lemon honey sage and ginger root. A humidifier with lemon eucalyptus and cinimon. And just blowing my nose really hard but nothing.... Please any advice. Benydryl niquil Theraflu nothing helps.

I have chronic rhinitis where the turninates inside my nose are always swollen and are stuffed. I also have a deviated septum which doesn't help. My doctor told me he takes Zyrtec and nasacort every morning. He's done it for the past 30 years so that's what I've been doing. It helps a little but what helps the most is my Neti pot. It's kinda gross all that stuff coming out of your nose but it seems to help quite a bit.

Have same sinus issues & find relief with Mucinex 12 hour. Also use Flonase.
