Sleeping issues with medication

Aug 05, 2018 10:08 PM

What meds work for you to sleep without losing 3 days of your life? My dr and I have tried to stay away from the actual sleeping meds because it doesn’t take much to put me out but I need it to work well enough to let me fall and stay asleep because of my fibro RLS and PLMD. we have tired kolinipin for the RLS last three days sleeping lowest dose cut in half with pill cutter and eleve lowest dosage cut in half with pill cutter. Already tried gavapitin and requip and had same issues. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated

Trazadone worked for me for years. Until it stopped working. It comes in 50mg tabs but you could cut in half if to strong. It is an old anti-depressant. I also took temazapam for a while.

Thank you for the info. I am going to research those and if they seem to look like they they would be a good fit, I will ask to try one

Have you tried melitonin? It is what the body needs for a natural sleep it's otc so no script needed.

Otherwise meditation and guided relaxation could help.

I started taking Remfresh and it works better than the average OTC melatonin. But it's expensive. It's about $32.

I've also taken Natrol form of melatonin and it's half the price of Remfresh, and works as well.
