Small fibre neuropathy

Jul 10, 2014 11:38 AM

does anyone else suffer with this?
i spent 3yrs being told there is nothing wrong, my pain couldnt be as bad as i say, just take the tablets and it will go.
The pain along with numbness got worse over time and new symptoms arrived too, they now think i have a autoimmune condition causing it.

I hate that this takes over my life

I have peripheral neuropathy in my legs due to complex regional pain syndrome and facet syndrome if that helps?

I have very bad nerve pain and numbness. I have fibromyalgia. I have all types of pain and emotional stresses due to it. I take Gabapentin and Cymbalta for pain and depression. Works great for nerve pain.

Bumping to see if anyone else suffers from this.

I'm now at a stage of coming of duloxetine as the side effects were horrid, but withdrawal is worse and pain is horrid at the moment.

B3cca, I've got neuropathy. At first it was from my disc degenerating in my spine, then fibromyalgia, and now Sjogrens syndrome. I'm also hypothyroid. I've not found anything to make the symptoms disappear but voltaren gel and gabapentin and tizanidine helps, as do ice, heat, and massages. Hope you find what works for you soon. I'll be praying for you. Blessings! 🙏🌼
