My day started out great, got to meet a new friend and off to my daughter's Drs. Appointment with the Physicians Assistant about her cold and her almost passing out last night. Well we got there and we wait for ,10 mins in the room, except the nurse and the PA started to bombard me with ?'S about my daughter's knee, like is that a new injury and was the tendons or ligimits torn, did she have to have surgery and who was the doctor treating it?! Really?! I have a suspicious feeling that I will have a visit from DHS (CPS) NOT what I want! Some doctors need to mind thier own business! Her knee is a problem she had along time ago from a competitive cheer accident, which ended her being able to ever do cheer again. So frustrated with the Physicians Assistant about now. Please pray for me!
I had the same thing with my son when he went thro a 2 year period where he had 17 x rays and had to have 8 casts....he broke both arms just above his wrists twice and both legs above his ankles plus the braces he had to have for the the soft tissue damage!....one of the nurses got really shitty towards the saying how social services will get involved and I couldn't help myself by saying yes please because then they can investigate why it keeps happening when he's at school!!! The nurse quickly walked off mumbling to herself.
I guess what I'm trying to say is you have all the paperwork from the time, you know that hospital that treated her and all that type of thing, you'll be fine. I know it's worrying when we you get questioned like but it's not your fault and there's people they can ask and stuff so they can see what actually happened instead of interfering busybodies who think they have the given rights to snoop and make up things and come to the wrong conclusion on things they have no right to even look into.
After her knee injury in cheer her knee would turn inwards every now and again and when that happens she is in a long knee brace and on crutches, I had to order a knee brace that would support her legbut still allow it to bend, the brace cost me quit a chunk but it allows her walk without the aid of the crutches. The picture in this post is her left (her left) knee without the brace.
Wow you can see the difference the brace makes. I still don't get why they were questioning you about it, you went in for something completely different. I hate it when you go in for one thing then they try to make a big thing out of something else especially if it's something like that for your daughter. Sorry I don't mean to go off on one, I had a very long and drawn out meeting with my daughters diabetic team....psychologist, dietitian and nurse.....where they was lecturing us on carbs and what to eat and drink and saying how I need to be getting more healthy stuff in and I'm like I'm not buying stuff that's not going to get eaten because it takes too long to cook or just the fact that it won't get eaten. I'm doing the best I can, I know I'm not doing all I should be doing but there's only soo much I can do on a good day but on a bad day there's nothing.... what do they expect
Yeah, I hear you! On bad days I normally put chicken in the Crock-Pot and mix some chicken broth and cream of chicken and cream of selary and cook it for 4 hour's and then I take a can of biscuits and flatten them and cut into strips and throw it in the Crock-Pot and cook for another hour and you have Crock-Pot chicken and dumplings! My Crock-Pot gets alot of use because it's just so much easier that way.
I only the other hand really really overdid it and now I am hurting everywhere! I keep falling asleep trying to type this, I guess thatbbvv means it's bed time! Night and God bless you all and may you have have a pain free night as much as possible! Love, support and Sunshine to brighten your day,💖🌞🙏
