Has something different happened in these last few weeks? Not knowing what's really going on, I'd say go somewhere quiet, alone and talk with him. Maybe tell him how "your feeling" ,be open to listening to his response, you might not like what he Has to say, but you do want hugs & feel love, right. That's true my the only advise know. Maybe something is going on with him and he doesn't want to burden you. Talkings a good thing, good luck big hugs from me

Honeybee, Tinyboo's advice is on point. You need to let him know what you're feeling. I can understand it, what you're going through. I noticed my hubby wasn't kissing me anymore. When I asked him why he said my sjogrens oral rash grossed him out, as does the thrush from my asthma inhalers. I told him I understand but it would be nice if he'd at least kiss my cheek or forehead, so now that's what he does. You'll be in my prayers. 🙏🌼

Honeybee, I'm sorry you are going through that. I'm sending you hugs (even though they are e-hugs, they're from my heart). I have several folks who stopped hugging me because they say they're afraid they're going to hurt me. I tell them that I hurt enough without being touched, is rather have the hugs and deal with it than not. You're right, we all need to be touched and receive affection. I hope you get back to the way things were before.🌻🙏🏻

Welcome OyOy! I have OA, DDD, DJD, osteopenia, TMJD, all for which I take extra calcium and D3. I have fused cervical discs with problems above and below the fusions, along with thoracic, lumbar, and sacral iliac issues (bulges, tears, etc), and sciatica, tingling, & numbness. I see a pain specialist for epidural injx for these issues & take Tramadol. I use Tylenol Arthritis most days, trying to reserve the Tramadol for really bad days. I have chronic upper back muscle spasms & use a muscle relaxer for them; Parafon forte. I have chronic migraines and cervicogenic headaches and use Midrin for them. I use Voltaren gel on my joints, neck and back. I have pelvic floor dysfunction and pelvic congestion syndrome (endometreosis &scar tissue hx), along with IBS, and I have various meds for those; Linzess, nexium (gerd), donnatal, nausea med, Psyllium fiber, citrucel, & spasms med. I have vertigo and depending on severity I use either Valium or meclizine. I have Hypothyroidism and use liothyronine & levothyroxine. I have Sjogrens and use Plaquenil, Systane eye solutions, & Biotene oral products. I have venous reflux in my lower legs (likely caused by pelvic congestion) and wear compression stockings, aspirin, and my PCP added Verapamil last Friday. I have mitral regurgitation and low ejection fraction rate in my heart, so I guess he feels I needed to be on it. I have undiagnosed tremors but take tizanidine for them. Oxybutynin is for my OAB & Interstitial cystitis. Nasonex, singular, Qvar, ayr saline, zyrtec are asthma and allergies. Tranxene for anxiety & nortriptyline for depression (due to chemical imbalance of serotonin), melatonin for insomnia, Nu-iron for anemia, benzonatate for bronchial coughs, mycelex for thrush (from inhalers), and an epipen for emergency allergy reactions. My gabapentin for fibromyalgia and neuropathies is on hold until the tremors, dizziness, imbalance, and brain MRI changes are diagnosed. I should like a walking drug store (Lol), but you'll find very few pain relievers because I'm allergic to most. I also have a genetic defect where I can't absorb B Vitamins, especially folate, so I'm taking a natural supplement form of it. I walk with a cane due to the imbalance, but I give out very easily after any activity. I'm trying to exercise 20-30 minutes a day because I felt better when I did, but some days I do good just to get my shower and dress.

Tell us a little about your issues. Even with everything I have going on I still feel blessed. And finding out i had support through this community helped me not want to isolate, but instead educate those closest to me. I hope you will find as much support and information from others as we all have. 🙏🌼

Honeybee, I am so sorry about my past to OyOy here. It was supposed to be on his post, but I guess I opened your accidentally and posted to him. Brain fog moment!

Have you been able to talk with your husband? If he can't express why he's not comfortable holding you, maybe y'all could sit beside each other and hold hands while watching TV. (((Hugs))) & praying 🙏🌼

Maybe he is scared about your condition? He may be scared to hurt you and about the future. Sometimes it's difficult to understand a condition fully if you're not going through it yourself? Hope things get better x

No I think he is screwing his drive , she a sad lonely cow , it would not be the first time ,last time it was a client !

Sep 20, 2015 11:17 AM

If you think that's happening you needed to talk to him. Holding it in is only going to cause you stress, and stress causes more pain. 🙏🌼

Sep 22, 2015 11:49 AM

Honeybee, I pray that is not the case. I do, however, agree with Flappsy. If you think that this is the situation? You need to speak to him. The additional stress you are taking on by holding this in useless and bad for your pain. I'm sending you {{{{{Hugs}}}}} and pray that everything gets straightened out. 💕🙏🏻🌻
