So yes. Took a shiwr after my normal two to three hours of talking myself into it. Especially today because I've been super dizzy today. I go and omg thr pain. I try so hard to keep as much h independence as I can in my situation and refuse to get help whike doing personal stuff if I can. This time scsred me I almost fainted from the pain and from muffling the screams and groans . So frustrated and embarrassed right now.
Recently my son installed one of those shower heads that can be handheld. It has several settings - so on really bad days I can set it on a softer spray. When shoulders are tighter than normal I can set it to pulse and use it to massage that area. If you can - putting one of those shower chairs in the shower can be helpful. That being said - I can sure understand how a shower can really wear us down.
I totally understand! I've always loved taking showers and it was hard for me to switch to every other day and even with that I have to talk myself into it. I too have a shower head that I can remove and a shower chair. It helps a lot but it depresses me because I'm only 31 and can barely shower. So I feel your pain. I'm sorry it's so bad for you.
Newfibrogirl there's no reason to be embarsssed. You're coping best you can and good thing is you didn't fall so the ambulance didn't have to come and the paramedics didn't see you laying there naked... LMAO!!! (And who gives a fuck if they did?!?) Give em a thrill, it keeps things interesting.. LOL!!😜😳🤗🐫😉
Yes the shower is a challenge. Usually though I use all the hot water as it helps me but I have the detachable head as well so if it starts hurting I can move to another spot while hanging onto the rail. Gentle hugs and thoughts coming through the airwaves🌼💜🤗🤗
