So I'm sitting here tonight, getting myself ready for bed. I am quite honestly amazed by something. Today was the first day of a light pain cycle(1-2 maybe), WITHOUT the intense pelvic discomfort that I've been dealing with for close to a year. It appears the laparoscopy was not in vain even though they didn't find anything. I am SO incredibly thankful for my gyn to take a chance with me. He really could have said No, but I'm so glad he didn't. This is the best I've ever felt this year in terms of that issue. Couldn't ask for any better. Before surgery, I would have at least 2-3 days down in bed, but today I've basically had 20 minutes down in bed for cramping!!!! It totally makes it worth it already. Sorry, stepping down off my soap box now!
@New, you better believe it. I can actually function a little bit better during my cycle. It's amazing and was totally not expecting this. Like I said, just grateful for small little victories. The pain and incision issues are worth it.
