So, contacted the neuros office this morning. Have had an ever increasing headache since Wednesday really. Was really bad last night to the point of wanting to go to the ER. Neuros office explained to me that it is most certainly a spinal headache. On bedrest the entire weekend(Boo). If it doesn't resolve itself by Tuesday, then they will do another tap for a blood patch. Think I'm just going to stay snuggled right down in my bed and only get up to pee or eat I think. I do NOT want to have to do a blood patch at this point. Also sleep study results came back today. I do NOT have sleep apnea, but I do snore quite loud apparently. Blessings to all. Will check back in later today.
Oh no! Praying you get whatever treatment is needed to make the headache stop. I had one after a myelogram years ago. The neurologist did a horrible & excruciatingly painful injection in his office. My hubby had to hold my head completely still while the doc injected meds into my spine. I wanted to throw up but couldn't, and my hubby's shoes were soaked with my tears. Five minutes after the injection the headache was gone. But thank God I've never needed another one!! Hugs!! 🙂💕🙏🌼
Okay, so it's not a spinal headache per se. It's a low pressure headache. I'm crapped up on IV meds from the neurologist right now. It also appears that I might slowly be going into remission, but won't know until May 12th, when they do the next set of fundus photos/visual field testing.
