Spinal issues and limb numbness

Mar 02, 2016 7:12 PM

So I have multiple spine issues from thorasic stenosis to not one good disc to herniations. I have had pnemonia and coughing a lot. Now my right arm and my legs started getting numb and weak. One day my left leg was so bad I had to drag it igor style to make it to the bathroom. It is more than just pins and needles which is driving me nuts it is at times a complete weakness that makes me feel like I can't walk like my legs have weights.

Anyone else get this?

Yes I am experiencing arm /leg numbness as well..I had to get six trigger point injections this afternoon..I feel so much better tonight..this week has been bad for me, so right now I am sitting quietly, until I have to get up to reposition a numb leg...lol

Yes! My back sounds similar to yours, until I had spinal cord injuries which now, I am quadriplegic.
But before that, I had such severe stenosis in my cervical spine and T and L sections of the back that, eventually it would've left me with some level of paralysis anyway. Unfortunately, I went and had my accident and ended up like I am now....But I try to make sure every day counts. Sometimes it's hard but, it doesn't stop me from being 'ME'. πŸ‘πŸΎπŸ˜Š

I got in to see my doctor and she thinks it is the coughing irritating all my spinal issues. My worst issue is between my shoulderblades that is where I have the herniated disc with spinal stenosis. She gave me some pills to help the coughing and I go in next week for another chest xray to see if my lungs are cleared up.

JahMac I am sorry about your accident your are a warrior! I hope as my back gets worse I can be as strong as you.
