i had one this year, but it was joint with another test called a myelogram, the worst bit is when they put the local anaesthetic in, the rest is fine. the thought of it makes it seem worse!

it sounds much worse than it is, you only feel a bit of pinching when anesthetic put in... I remember the rest just feeling like a "cold" sensation. you just have to take it easy that day. good luck!

i had to stay on a hospital ward for 7 hours after, and they monitered me constantly but i think that was because i had die injected in and there was a risk of getting menigites! you are supposed to drive but i did get the train home :) i got whats called a spinal headache afterwards and i had bruising round the puncture sight but apart from that i was fien

do you have $$$ for a cab or driver? the drivers are nice because they will wait and help you in and out of buildings. not sure if they have in your area. Medicaid pays for their own transportation system in most states. not grand but better than the bus or train.

Had it this morning didn't hurt at all. It sucks lying flat but other than that I feel fine!!!

good glad to hear all went fine I had one went good after the first ten seconds for I seen the needle and I'm scared to death of needles.

you lay flat for at least 4 hours after, the worst part for me was being hooked up to the iv and having to pee (I just couldn't use the urinal I was so tense from nerves) I did have spasms in my back about a week after but the doctor said it was just my nerves from the whole situation

I had symptoms on my third day. Can you believe it after two days on bed rest get back to work and bam. Headache out of this world I've had one all weekend I feel extremely weak and helpless. I'm being tested for MS anyone else feel this way?
