Have any of you tried spurilina. I have found the benefits from it to be very promising. I put it in an organic smoothie every morning.

Good idea, Melissa! I use it too. It has high vitamine, mineral and protein content. A similar algae called Chlorella has even been tested in Fibromyalgia and shown benefits in body function and quality of life.

I have heard that spirulina contains all essential amino acids, which are beneficial to help with sore muscles especially when taken at night. I started it two months ago and I had more good days in the last month.

Where is it found? Is it openly available like a major grocery or is it a health food store item?

Well, when I lived in Canada I saw it at drug stores and health food stores. Now I live in the Netherlands and they have it in regular supermarkets as well. I order mine online though.

You can buy it in the Nature section at your grocery store. I buy mine online through Amazon.
