Started work, had to quit

Aug 03, 2016 6:09 PM

I started a new job but had to quit. Pains in my pelvic region got so bad I lost balance as well as urinated on myself.

I am so sorry that happened to you. That is just terrible. Have seen a doctor for the problem? Are you able to file for disability? I do not think I have talked eith you before so welcome to the community . If you have not already do so tell us about yourself. I have been hit and miss lately and definitely missed a bunch of new people.

Applied for ssi. Been seeing a doctor and had tests done. No visible problems. This has gotten worse since 2013 when my hit and run happened . The heavy 24/7 incontinence started this year. Pains were just in my left hit and lower back area but now fully back hips and knees

Deiveron, do you have any cysts on your spine, have you had any mri's of your S and C spine? Do you have bee stings feelings in the pelvic region or does it hurt to sit over 15 mins.?

Nothing remarkable in the tests.

Welcome to our community family I'm so sorry you weren't through that. I know how it feels as I've had pelvic floor dysfunction (PFD) since 2008, but it wasn't diagnosed until a mass was removed in 2010. PFD has affected both bowel and ironed control. If I'm not peeing & pooping on myself, in retaining it too long and getting infections. The last year was so bad was afraid to leave my house. But they have worked with me in pelvic floor therapy and it has helped. PF therapy is physical therapy for the pelvic floor muscles, muscles I didn't even know existed. A urogynecologist or pelvic floor specialist is what you would need. But a urologic should be able to have the tests done to see if your urethra and bladder muscles are responding properly. You lose your inhibition in order to get help. Lol Hugs love and prayers you can find a doctor who will get to the cause of your issues and find a treatment plan to help regain some if not all your life back! 🙂🙏💕🌸

Was told that the nerves are inoperable. Therapy may help but to get used to wearing protection for a good while.

So sorry these things happened to you. You are so young to have these issues, but I guess trauma from accident has hold of you. I hope your doctor has a PT referral & plan for specific treatment.

Me too. Sitting around in protective pants and being unable to move quickly has hindered my life. I am waiting on disability to approve / deny my claim so I can get the process started for appeal.

I just hope the jerk who hit me and ran gets his karma. I can walk just not for long or far. I do hope it's temp. Maybe I can find an at home job...but what. That's my next plan of action.

@deiveron, I quit my job as well. I was struggling with fatigue, brain fog, anxiety and a multitude of just not feeling well. I have also had problems with urinary incontinence.

Went to my new GP. Told em how bad the pain was. But he focused on my incontinence more and referred me to a urologist. Told him I have a bandaid for peeing myself right now. I need to fix the pain because it's paralyzing...literally. I can barely walk.
