Had a bad reaction to my lyrica last night. After I got mom and dad there meds. I mistakenly took my night dose on an empty stomach. Man when I tell you it was awful. Thankfully bmy sister was still here and she brought me my correction meds.
Im not an expert by any means but I've been on lyrica long enough nto know I have to have food on stomach. I've got to be more mindful of how I'm dealing with things. I've gotten a lot of great tips from I guys. I've had some small conversations with my parents about the way we interact and communicate . bit now I've got to communicate with myself .lol

Get a white board and put a reminder on their for you to remember to take care of yourself too, like what time you need to take your meds and do it after you eat. White boards are my friend around this house! I have 2 of them on my fridge, one is used to keep track of how much liquid my aunt has had so she doesn't go over her allowed daily intake. Other is for chore reminder and medication's. Praying for you, it's not easy but, after doing for so many years you will get used to it.

I agree with Moparmom. Anything you can use to write yourself notes so you don't forget to take care of you. I'm glad that you were able to talk to your parents and that your sister was there to help you when you weren't feeling well. Hang in there, things will all fall into place and we're all here to help with whatever we can. Love and {{{Hugs}}} 💕🙏🏻🌻😊

Cell phone alarm clocks. That's what saves me. My mom has her "calendar that tells her when to breathe" and a smaller one in her purse that she syncs up with the other one. But calendars don't have alarms and I will eventually stop seeing the calendar or white board or post its. So I have alarms for every medication (including my bf's nexium) and the phone calendar has alarms... I use the memo for grocery lists and reminders. At any given moment the Dr Who "bad wolf" alarm tone could go off to tell me that I need to take a pill or mail something, pay a bill, go give my grandma her meds, call a doctor etc....I guys for me it's my "phone that tells me when to breathe" lol. Good thing, too, cuz I'd forget.....
