Stomach pains

Nov 09, 2016 12:01 AM

So for the last three days I've had what feels like PMS cramps but they're too high. It sits at and just above my belly button. The area has gotten quite tender too. I usually experience nausea but it has been a lot stronger and more frequent the last few days to a week. At the beginning I just assumed the pain and nausea was just my normal symptoms. I've never had an experience like this. Does anyone have any suggestions on what it could be? Should I be rushing to the hospital or should I just book a doc appointment later this week or next week?

First of all how bad is your pain?
Second of all it could be literally anying.
From appendices to an ulcer.
If it is really bad I would go to the ER

It could be bowel constipation too, especially if you haven't gone lately. I have IBS-C and omg at the pain it can cause. It could also be the appendix, gallbladder, ovary related, endometreosis, or some other issue. If it's serious enough, & unlike anything ever experienced before, go to urgent Care or the ER. If not then call your primary doc and get in asap. Hugs love & prayers it's nothing serious. 🙂💕🙏🌸

Went to the ER and was there for 6.5 hrs. He basically just said it's not an infection, I'm not pregnant and nothing feels hard. If I still have the pain in two weeks then I can go to my gp

I'd book an appointment with your GP sooner than that if you can, it's not your normal pain so it might not be life threatening or something that an A&E doctor would be able to treat. You're GP should know you and what conditions you have so he/she should able to investigate further for you.
Don't give up, keep going until you have answers xx

I'm having a HORRIBLE flare with my IBS-C. Very sharp pains that move across my lower stomach. I'm sure everyone who has it, their pain is different. But I really think you need to go see a Dr. My husband had a gut infection that caused him so much pain in around the same area & he chalked it up to an ulcer but he needed IV antibiotics and stayed in the hospital for a couple of days. Not to scare you but just take care of yourself.

Just realized you already replied. I'm so sorry the ER left you hanging like that. It seems they do it all the time to people. Praying you GP can figure out the problem. Good luck to you! Keep us updated!! 💕

Today the pain seems to be coming and going. It gets bad when I eat but not when I drink so I'm trying to drink lots of juice and Gatorade and what not to keep myself from getting too weak. My stomach is still bloated so you can't tell but I'm sure I've lost probably five pounds this week.
