Today I was told that my pain is no worse than stubbing a toe, then when I went to show then the McGill pain scale, I was told that it is a lie.
I'm so with people.

People really don't want to believe it's possible to be in so much pain when technology should be able to help you because we are "so advanced". I'm sorry but there will always be people like this and I get over it by thinking maybe one day they will get a chronic problem or their child will and then maybe they will understand because you can't make them until they feel it themselves or through someone they truly love.

Thank you for sharing your frustration.
It is unfortunate that you have pain. I will not deny what you are saying. It is frustrating when people compare situations to yours. The pain is your pain, it can be nasty, limiting and exhausting. Please remind yourself to be kind to your hurting and challenging body and mind.
