Stupid Hypermobility messing with my life

Feb 22, 2017 9:36 AM

8 month old was standing on my legs yesterday she dug her foot into my thigh muscles I moved her off didn't think anything of it. Now this morning I woke to the pain of my right leg from hip to toe throbbing. It feels like the muscle is torn away from the bone. And like my hip and knee r dislocated but I know it's not. I can handle a lot of pain. . but this.. this is a new level of pain. I've tried stretching the muscle thinking it's a knot. It felt good but didn't ease the pain. Just made it worst. I've tried walking on it. It gives out or makes me scream in pain. I've applied biofreeze and heat. Got relief for a few minutes. I don't know what else to do. Fml

What I have heard is ice injury first 24 hours then heat. Don't know if that'll help. Ice 20 min on 30 min off

Have u tried a chiropractor? Not sure what happened but sounds like your 8 month old may have hit a nerve just right. Alot the symptoms u described sound like my leg, hip and butt when my nerve is flared up real bad.

Yes I go to chiropractor but unless I could go everyday I need to find ways to reset myself.
Today wasn't bad at all. My knee and pelvis aren't sitting right but the muscle pain has calmed down!!

I'm a Chiropractor, and recommend sacro Occipital for LB pain, and the Integrator for neck pain google both.

I have hypermobility too and it seems like nothing helps the joint pain and muscle knots. But I did recently buy a TENS unit from cvs and it helps the pain - not go away - but manageable.
