sugar makes pain worse.

I have worked at trying to track what works or doesn't work, food is definately a factor. Gave up anything with corn and gluten; though I am not a celiac; followed the blood type diet and found more relief. Added low glycemic index and low carb; using Xylatol from birch tree and other low glycemic index sweeteners.

You are correct. Sugar causes inflammation which in turn can cause more pain.

I find if I way less processed sugars and stick with the sugars that are found naturally in foods my pain decreases. but oh so hard to give it up completely!
