fed up with GP and other medical people saying every symptom is fibro. been having some frightening episodes where I can't remember where I am, was stood outside supermarket but couldn't work out where that was in relation to anything else. I'm having big limb jerks they are that strong that I knock stuff over or make me fall, these are then followed by a red hot shooting pain going from the right eye diagonally across my head from right to left. would go to GP but will be fobbed off
I have to say I have had a lot of those symptoms with fibro. My whole body was having muscle spasms. Jerking all over. loss of memory is horrible for me!!! have they done test to rule out any and all auto immune disorders?
My mom had fibro and she had a lot of muscle spasms and jerking, sometimes to the point she would drop things. lshe also had a lot of memory bkurps, couldn't remember why she went into a room, or what she was going to get
had my thyroid removed in 2010. my thyroid levels are fine and level as I have them checked regularly. I have fibro fog. however something else is happening. went into super market got annoyed cause I couldn't find anything, only to realise I had walked up and down the same isle at least four times, that's fibro fog. when I came out of said super market I was completely lost, could not remember where the shop is located and where I was, the car was etc. got quiet emotional, I then get a hot shooting pain going from my right eye across my head to the left side of my head. it's one of those pains that make you grab the affected area and shout because of the pain. this is different from my fibro symptoms
Very strange. I take it you eventually got home. I know that feeling, though. I always have to take someone with me when I go shopping. You should describe pain to doc, though. Never had that in my head. please go see doc soon. and take a friend. all the best to you.
actually all that you mentioned are from Fibro. but that doesn't mean that you don't have something else going on. a second opinion can never hurt. dr Goldenberg from Newtin Wellesley Hospital has written multiple books. and talks about all of that and more. I know it's frustrating. hang in there. your not alone. 😋
Fibro is quite specific, but it should still be diagnosed after other, more life threatening problems have been ruled out. It can be concomitant with other more serious problems. I think you have other things going on there. I would look to a neurologist.
