Surgery

Jun 14, 2016 8:10 PM

Had an Obgyn appointment today,it was a follow-up from the antibiotics they had me take to try and get everything "back on track"bit of course it didn't work. Since I am allergic to hormones, so they FINALLY decided that it was best to remove the essure by total hysterectomy. My surgery is set for July 29th. I am really nervous about it, but just glad that have a date to have the coils removed.

Moparmom, are they doing a vaginal hysterectomy, or an abdominal access incision? I had the vaginal hysterectomy, and the abdominal oophorectomy. The vaginal was so much easier to recover from, with much less pain. Hugs & prayers everything goes well, & you have a very good & short recovery without complications! 🙂💕🙏🌼

Moparmom I am sorry that the treatment didn't work. I hope they are able to do the hysterectomy vaginally as I have heard that it is much less trauma to the body and quicker recovery time. My Sister had a hysterectomy and it was done he old way but she was fine in 2 days. She was very lucky. I am sending you gentle {{{Hugs}}} my friend and prayers for a speedy recovery!! 💕🙏🏻🌻😊

They are going to discuss the options with me on the pre op date, that is when I speak with the doctor face to face. But,They talked about vaginally taking it out but they also discussed possibly going through my old C-Section line. I am going to do some research on the best possible removal of the coils without leaving any fibroids behind. That is alot of the cause for my uteruses to be inflamed. The coils have already wreaking havoc on my life, I don't want them doing it after thier gone too.
